TEAM BUILDING

Not long into my carreer, I noticed how important it was to have policies and written regulation in place in order to run my clinic efficiently, without repetitions and irritation.
Every staff should get a ” job description booklet” to know their exact role in office, this saved me a lot of confusion and conflict between satff members.
There are many avenues to take to help your staff feel fullfilment and satisfaction in their work. I can help you implement some of those based on your team .
In order to create a calming environement at work, it is imperative for the staff to get along.
I realized early on that creating a bond between staff members made the environment I worked in more favorable and relaxed.
There are many things you can do to help to build this relationship between team members.
Our clinic is almost like our second home and our staff become our 2nd family therefore it is important to treat them like one.
Staff that feel they are being treated right and taken care of will go above and beyond their duties in a clinic.

Creating ties between staff members reduces friction among them.

However conflicts can still arise between members of a group, these are the issues that most of us like to run away from if we could.
In our busy schedules, it can sometimes take weeks to confront someone regarding their performance or interaction shortfalls.
Therefore nobody likes confrontation and it is very easy to take issues personally, resulting in even a worse situation. If issues are not dealt with delicately it can directly effect the business.
There are many advantages in offloading some of that to virtual/remote office management. Not working side by side in an office makes the staff more relaxed and willing to bring up the issues that arise amongst the team. They can talk more freely and in confidence in an attempt to resolve the issues. As a third party not working directly with the staff, conflict management becomes unbiased and without emotional baggage. This can be done seamlessly and indirectly as other interactions allow for overlap of assessment and issue addressing.
